Finished tied for 51st this week. Far from satisfied but it feels like i´m going in the right direction. The best thing was to sink a clutch putt on my 36 hole from 25 feet to make the cut on the number. I knew that I had to sink that one, so it was all or nothing. Pretty cool how often it happens that you sink it then =).
Every round has been a bit up and down though, looking for some more consistency, specially with my longer irons and woods. Will work on that today on Delhi Gc where I will play the Sail open this week. Pretty Convenient trip for the next tournament, 1 hour taxi
. I Know that course pretty good after my 2 wins in 3 attempts and I have a good feel that I will higher my winning percentage there this week… Would be lovely!….
The big talkie this week for the players was Peter Whitefords Disqualification. It´s unfortunate but he should´ve called the referee right away. Peter asked his caddie, playing partners, cameraman and none of them saw if it moved. He had a feeling that it might have done that but when his playing partners said it didn´t look like it he choose to play.
The right call was made in the end, BUT it can not happen over and over again that people are email the european production team and telling them what do and afterwards when he already starting playing the 4th round DQ him. It´s the right call but basically if you had the same situation like this which your player partners say that the ball didn´t move and you don´t call the referee, A person in the tv-soffa who make his dedication to his weekend to show that the ball moved a quarter of a inch, you can get disqualified on sunday just before walked up the 18 th green for something that happened on thursday. Every player on this tours thinks its silly cause it´s a gentlemen’s game and no one attends to cheat, and I hope you think that as well
Peter is a guy who almost did everything right but if you have a feeling that something is not right you shell call the penalty on yourself. No one blaming him for being a cheater, he did what he thought was right in the moment of heat. A great guy who will comeback…
Time for finishing my breakfast…
See you later
